Woah. I was poking around in my own journal, and I realized just how long it's been since I updated my 2008 reading list. Rest assured, I have been reading! I probably won't make my goal of 50 books for the year, but I haven't given up. The conference I went to in July has helped with a ton of good book suggestions to add to my list. It's official. Working limits the amount of reading I get done. The spring semester is especially bad with all the research papers and Shakespeare I teach. Those things tax me to the point of not wanting to read. Yes, believe it of me. I am only human.

At this point, reaching my goal of 50 books read in 2008 isn't looking so good. *sigh*
